Camino Wayfinder is designed as an offline-first route planning app for Camino de Santiago hikers. The current app does not require an account, does not include ads, and does not sell or share personal information.

Data Collection

The current app does not collect personal data on a server. Route selections, journal entries, checklist progress, budget items, and credential progress are stored locally on your device.

Location

If you grant location permission, Camino Wayfinder uses your device location on device to estimate your nearest point on the selected Camino route. Location data is not uploaded by the current app.

Photos And Camera

If you grant photo or camera permission, Camino Wayfinder uses it only so you can attach photos to private journal entries stored on your device.

Analytics And Tracking

The current app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, third-party tracking, or data broker sharing.
