Contact Support

Email tommaciejewski@yahoo.com. Include your app version, device model, operating-system version, selected Camino route, and the steps that caused the problem. Do not email passwords, sign-in tokens, precise live location, or private journal photos.

The in-app Account view also accepts Bug, Route data, and Support feedback. Feedback written while offline is queued and sent after connectivity returns. A Camino Wayfinder account is not required to submit feedback.

Before Walking

Route, lodging, water, transport, closure, weather, and community information is a planning aid. Always verify current trail conditions, accommodation, transport, and official safety guidance locally. For immediate danger, call local emergency services; Camino Wayfinder is not an emergency dispatch service.

Offline Use

  1. Install or open Camino Wayfinder while you still have a reliable connection.
  2. Select the route and use the offline-save action before leaving service.
  3. Use the bundled Backup map if Google Maps is unavailable.
  4. Confirm the header says Offline - cached data when testing airplane mode.

Maps, stages, route data, lodging/service references, emergency information, checklist, budget, and private journal remain usable offline. Google Maps, sign-in, account sync, live tip refresh, and live chat require a connection.

Lodging Search And Booking

Bathrooms, Water And Food Stops

The Francés and Portugués include a bundled OpenStreetMap snapshot for bathrooms, drinking water, cafés, restaurants, bakeries, groceries, pharmacies, ATMs, laundry, medical help, transport, and lodging within the route corridor. It works offline. Records can be missing, seasonal, closed, or incorrect; check the source/freshness link and submit a correction or pilgrim report when needed.

Offline Drafts And Cached Community Content

Tips, reports, and feedback use an outbox with draft, queued, syncing, synced, failed, or rejected state. Tips and reports require sign-in before delivery; feedback may be sent without an account. Cached tips and chat history remain readable offline and may be stale. Chat Send is disabled offline because delayed chat messages are not represented as live messages.

Sign-In And Sync Help

Community Safety

Signed-in users can report tips, messages, or public profiles and block another pilgrim. Use the in-app report action for content review and email support for urgent account or moderation issues. Nearby and Ahead features are optional and use rounded trail segments, not public exact coordinates. Read the Community Standards before posting.

Account Data And Deletion

Use Export my data in the Account view to download account/community data. Use Delete account to revoke the session and remove the account's synced state and public content. Deleting an account does not automatically erase local-only journal/checklist/budget data from the device; clear app or browser storage or uninstall the app to remove local-only data.

Permissions

Location is optional and supports the on-device route-position estimate. Photo access is optional and used for private local journal attachments. Denying either permission must not block the core planning app.
